What you can expect:
A warm, non-judgemental space
Therapy can feel vulnerable, particularly when you're talking about things you may not have shared before. I aim to offer a space where you can feel comfortable being honest, without needing to have everything figured out before you arrive.
We work together
I won't tell you what you should do or try to fit you into a particular way of working. We'll think together about what brings you to therapy and what might be helpful for you.
You can go at your own pace
There may be things you want to talk about straight away, and others that take time. We can make space for both, without rushing the process.
We look at the whole person
Our experiences don't exist in isolation. We can explore your thoughts and feelings alongside your relationships, past experiences, patterns, identity and the things that give your life meaning.
A space to feel heard and understood
Sometimes being able to speak freely to someone who is genuinely listening can be important in itself. Over time, we can develop a therapeutic relationship where difficult things can be explored safely and honestly.
Therapy doesn't have to have a fixed endpoint
Some people come with something specific they'd like support with, while others want to explore things more deeply over a longer period. We can talk about what feels right for you.
